Northern Lites Labs is a small, hobby Labrador Retriever breeder in beautiful Northern Michigan. We began breeding in 2003 with our first chocolate lab, Kali and have been doing it ever since. We are now breeding Kali's great, great grandchildren. We typically begin breeding our females when they are two years old and have passed their hips and elbow OFA certification as well as screened for common Labrador retriever diseases or cleared through parentage. We do not sell our females once they have entered retirement age as they are part of our very much a part of our family. Our dogs make excellent family dogs, hunting partners, and service dogs. We use stud dogs who also are all up to date on all their tests.
